Call for Papers
ICDAAI 2027 invites original research on Digital Agriculture and Artificial Intelligence. Papers and abstracts are due on 15 December 2026. Accepted papers will be published by Springer in Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems.
Research tracks
Submissions are welcome wherever digital technologies and artificial intelligence meet agriculture, food and the rural environment. The list is indicative: if your work fits none of the tracks exactly, submit it and the Programme Chairs will route it to the closest one.

Submission guidelines
All submissions are handled through the conference management platform. Read the guidance below carefully before you submit — desk rejections are almost always avoidable formatting problems.
Review type
Single-blind peer review
Reviewer identities remain confidential; author names are visible to reviewers. Each submission receives at least two independent reviews, with a third requested when reviewers disagree. Final decisions rest with the Programme Chairs.
Length limits
Full papers up to 8 pages
Short papers up to 5 pages and extended abstracts 1 page (400–600 words), all inclusive of figures, tables and references. Submissions exceeding the limit are desk-rejected without review.
Originality
Original, unpublished work
Submissions must not be published elsewhere or under concurrent review. All papers are screened for plagiarism. Generative-AI use must be disclosed; AI systems cannot be listed as authors.
Types of submission
| Type | Length | Presentation | In proceedings |
|---|---|---|---|
| Full paper | Up to 8 pages | Oral | Yes |
| Short paper | Up to 5 pages | Oral or poster | Yes |
| Extended abstract | 1 page / 400–600 words | Oral or poster | Book of Abstracts |
| Doctoral forum paper | Up to 5 pages | Oral + mentoring | Yes |
| Industry / demo paper | Up to 4 pages | Demo or poster | Yes |
| Workshop / special session proposal | Up to 3 pages | Half or full session | Accepted papers only |
Page limits are inclusive of figures, tables, references and appendices, in Springer's proceedings format used for LNNS.
Paper templates
Prepare your paper with Springer's proceedings template, in LaTeX or Word, as required for Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems. Papers in another format may be returned for reformatting.

Before you submit
-
Language. All submissions must be written in English. One dedicated session will be held in Greek; those abstracts may be submitted in Greek with an English title and abstract.
-
File format. Upload a single PDF with embedded fonts. Source files are collected only at camera-ready stage.
-
Track selection. Choose one primary track and up to two secondary keywords so your paper reaches suitable reviewers.
-
Registration requirement. Every accepted submission requires at least one author to register at the full rate and to present, in person or remotely.
-
Ethics & data. Report ethical approval where applicable and state data-availability. Open datasets and reproducible code are strongly encouraged.
Propose a workshop or special session
ICDAAI 2027 welcomes proposals for half-day workshops, hands-on tutorials and thematic special sessions. Proposals should describe the topic and its relevance, the organising team, the target audience, expected format and the expected number of contributions. Space is limited and proposals are reviewed on a rolling basis.
Proceedings in Springer's Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems
All accepted full, short, doctoral-forum and industry papers will be published by Springer in the peer-reviewed ICDAAI 2027 proceedings, a volume of the Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems (LNNS) series, available on SpringerLink. Accepted extended abstracts are collected in an online Book of Abstracts.
A selection of the strongest contributions will be invited to submit extended versions to special issues of international journals. Every published paper receives a DOI.
Book series confirmed: Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems, Springer (series editor Janusz Kacprzyk; ISSN 2367-3370, eISSN 2367-3389).

Frequently asked questions
Is the review process anonymous?
ICDAAI 2027 uses single-blind review: reviewers see author names and affiliations, but reviewer identities are never disclosed to authors. You therefore do not need to anonymise your manuscript.
Each submission is assigned at least two independent reviewers, with a third review requested when the first two disagree. Conflicts of interest are declared and enforced in the submission platform, and final decisions are taken by the Programme Chairs.
Can I use generative AI when writing my paper?
Yes, with disclosure. Generative-AI tools may be used for language editing, code assistance or literature exploration, but their use must be stated in an acknowledgement section. AI systems cannot be listed as authors, and the human authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality and integrity of the entire manuscript, including all references. As the proceedings appear in a Springer series, Springer Nature's AI policy applies: AI-written text reproduced without human verification, and photorealistic AI-generated or manipulated images, are not permitted.
